Graduate Program - Overview
The Secure Software Systems program is designed to prepare highly skilled software developers with special expertise in creating and maintaining software systems requiring high levels of information security. The program achieves this goals through study of core areas in Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Information Security. Students who complete the program earn a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, with a concentration in Secure Software Systems.
Full-time graduate students beginning in the fall term can expect to complete their course work in two years. Students entering in the spring may require a fifth semester in order to complete all requirements. Part-time students may complete the program at a pace commensurate with their professional and personal obligations, in two to six years.
