CS Receives Grant from the Department of Defense

Computer Science faculty, Hossain Heydari, Brett Tjaden, and Steve Wang received a large grant from the Department of Defense Information Assurance Scholarship Program (DoD-IASP).

The grant covers a scholarship for one graduate and one undergraduate computer science student and includes: tuition, books, a stipend, and a paid summer internship.  Interested students (especially sophomores) should contact Dr. Heydari for more information.

The DoD grant also covers a week long Cyber Defense Boot Camp for 20 high school technology teachers from all over the country and will be held at JMU in early summer.
