Transfer Information

The JMU Computer Science Department has specialized articulation agreements (i.e., formal arrangements regarding admissions) with Blue Ridge Community College and Piedmont Community College that guarantee eligible students admission into the Department of Computer Science as Computer Science majors. Please review the VCCS – JMU course equivalents so that you are able to make a smooth transfer into our program.

If you would like to continue your education in computer science at JMU, please contact Chris Fox and refer to the JMU Transfer Advising website for information applicable to your transfer needs.

Whether you plan to transfer from the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) or Richard Bland College (RBC), a community college out of state, or a four-year college or university, we encourage you to review the information relevant to your situation so that you are well prepared to transfer.

Welcome from Computer Science
