Graduate Program Finacial Assistance
Assistantships
The department has a limited number of graduate assistantships, which provide a cash stipend and tuition scholarship. Students may apply for these and for regular federal and state educational programs offering fellowships, scholarships and loans. In addition, the university offers a limited number of fellowships each semester to full-time degree students with financial need.
Employment
Qualified students are also eligible to apply for student employment opportunities on campus. For information on fellowships and graduate assistantships, write the JMU Graduate School Office.
