Career Services

The Career and Academic Planning Office at JMU is available to assist students in developing effective job-search skills and contacting prospective employers. Their services and programs include job search workshops, career days, practice interview sessions, job listings, and on-campus recruiting. Numerous industry and government organizations recruit regularly on the JMU campus through AACD events.

International Student Services

The International Student and Scholar Services Office offers support and services to the JMU international community. ISSS assists international students with visa issues, employment documents, and all immigration matters. In addition, they provide a variety of educational programs highlighting the numerous cultures represented on campus, in order to increase intercultural understanding and awareness on campus.
