Association for Computing Machinery
The JMU student chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)
organizes a variety of different events and activities of interest to
computer science students, including: "tech talks", game nights, meals,
job nights, and more.
Cyber Defense Club
The Cyber Defense Club is a group of students that is interested in the
operational aspects of managing and protecting the network infrastructure.
Among other activities, the Cyber Defense Club represents JMU at the
National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (CCDC).
Upsilon Pi Epsilon
Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE) is the first honor society for
Computer Science. The mission of Upsilon Pi Epsilon is to recognize
academic excellence at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in
the computing sciences.
